The AI + Cybersecurity Professional Development Workshop empowers high school educators to confidently teach technical Artificial Intelligence concepts through the lens of cybersecurity. This program equips teachers with practical tools, modern resources, and structured guidance to lead meaningful conversations and hands-on activities around digital security, privacy, AI ethics, and responsible AI use in the classroom. Upon completion, participants earn the ACCI: AccessCyber Certified Cybersecurity Instructor designation.

Throughout the course of the workshop, teachers will:

• Explore core domains within AI and cybersecurity, gaining fluency in essential terminology and foundational concepts

• Build hands-on experience using industry-relevant tools, platforms, and technologies

• Discover curated online resources, competitions, career pathways, events, and research opportunities for student engagement

• Access technical curriculum design support, including lesson planning materials and instructional guides

• Identify project templates and security-oriented activity guides for classroom implementation

• Participate in interactive labs and collaborative exercises to apply AI + cybersecurity concepts

• Join the AccessCyber Network and receive ongoing updates, teaching resources, and community support
